It says that nba 2k5 works on a P3 700mhz. Can anyone vouch for that? I need to know!! (im being given an old laptop, 700mhz, 256ram, geforce2 etc) and was wondering wether or not its at all playable. (im not fussed about graphics...if i can run the game on lowest graphics but still have it smooth that would be great)
i have another PC an old pentium 3
with 667mhz
256 ram
64 mb video
nba live 2005 works there but i have to tweak the cpu settings. i have the bus overclock to 30% of actual speed. but hey it works as long as i don't use shadows and high detail settings.
i,m still playing my live at my pentuim 4 2 ghz though
^sweet thanks. yeah i was raedy to switch shadows off and quality on low or medium. its a 733 i think that im getting, and its just been reformatted so im hoping its got 512 ram now
it's a general rule.....slim machines lower power for games
big bulky/aircool machines=higher power for games
the portable latops is for poeple on the go and is mostly used for web browsing, programming and word processing......some are used as mobile media. very few laptops are built for gaming or maybe none at all.what do you say about my assessment threatlockz?

Doh I knew that Wrong choice of words. hehe.
Thanks for the input everyone. But I know that ti will be tough to play it on this laptop....im probably gonna use the lowest graphic spec possible to play it. Id still rather that then go back to 2k4
