I was up by two in the second conference final in me Seattle dynasty (first season) and it had been a very close game so far and it was just seconds left. As I said I was up by two and there were only seconds left and the other team (Sacramento) had position. They get it up to Bibby and with somewhat over two seconds left he got the three pointer off over Daniels; the shot clanked off the rim and I took a sigh of relief because I though I had just won the game, sadly, I weren’t boxing out since I though it was pretty much over. So that left Webber open and with my luck he managed to jump to the ball (he was standing like 6ft away) and tip it in to beat the buzzer.
Ok, I thought, I'll take them in overtime. That proved to be easier said than done. They went on a 9-0 scoring run half-way through and kept it rather intact. With about a minute to go I got the ball to Allen who drained the three, and after that started to press the Bibby during the inbounds. Bibby got the ball as Allen was to late, but he passed it to Christie who was standing by the base-line, I went for the steal and managed to know the ball out of his hands so that it fell down just inside the line; I got the ball without stepping out of bounds and went for the fade-away three pointer. It went in... I kept pressing and came away with the steal after some time and got it up court to Allen again who calmed the play down some. Called for the pick and went for the three again, and drained it. It was about 30 seconds left at this point and I decided to foul, but as the game tends to be an extremely good free throw shooter on superstar I wanted to get the ball in the hands of the worst shooter on that team, which didn't quite pan out the way I was hoping. With 22 seconds left I decided to foul Chrisite. He made the first one, and the second one as well. I called the time-out. I got the ball to Allen who pump-faked, the defender didn't move, so I decided to drive inside which went ok until I found myself locked in a double-team. I looked outside and found Daniels open at the line, and managed to get the ball out to him; he took the open three pointer and made it, swoosh. Now I was down by two with about ten seconds left. I pressed the inbounds again and got away with the steal right off the pass. I decided not to call the time out and go for it. I, after a few passes, got it to Daniels who was standing a few feet inside the line with four seconds left with two defenders if front of him, he pump-faked although they didn't fall for it, instead one of them locked me down and I wasn't able to do anything but pass. Then it happened, as I said there was two players in front of me, one of them was Christie, who now was stuck between two other players. I looked up and found Allen on the other side of the court... open. I got the pass to him and with a little less than a second left I get the three pointer up.
Now an open three with Allen shouldn't be a problem you might think. I was.... The shot clanked off the rim and I got my second loss in a row in overtime in the conference finals...
