i am stuck at the 2nd part saying, C:\Program Files\EA
SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2004\render\.
Open xplayer.viv

i cant find xplayer.viv file. can it be somewhere else ?

That tutorial is for NBA Live 2004. Is it for Live2004 that you are trying to patch or is it for Live2005?

for live 2005 its in your program files/nba live 2005/sgsm/players folder and its called plyrface.viv

EA Graph. Double click caarroy.viv,
double click caarroy.fsh and click bhed.
From File menu press Save as, and save

Instead of using EAGraph I suggest you use FshX for 2005.
