To fantasy draft or not fantasy draft?

Postby robjv1 on Sun Jan 02, 2005 11:42 pm

I was just curious if you guys do the fantasy draft or not for your Dynasty, and if you think there are advantages/disadvantages to doing it? Personally I like to do it, just because it really shakes up the league and you get to see some interesting combinations of players (Lebron/Steve Francis - what a duo!). One thing I wonder though - since the teams seems to all have a predefined primary and secondary offensive set in the DBF file - is this still used when you do a fantasy draft, or do the teams adjust dynamically? This could put certain teams at a disadvantage if they do not play their players in the correct way, but I suppose you could just say it's a coach imposing a certain philosophy on a team, but i'm not sure how much those DBF values matter. Also - I always make sure to alternate East/West picks in the fantasy draft in attempt to make the conferences more or less equal (or at least as close as they can be with the limited number of quality players)

Fantasy Dtraft is just fantasy rosters. Basically what it means.

I got Baron davis, Iverson, Korver ( sounds like Reg 76ers... Hmm)

Last Time Francis, T-Mac, Miller ( Killa 3).

But i say
NO if your going with a good dynasty to post as a journal
Yes for person play. No im not saying fantasy Are bad.

But its your choice. Basically matters whos on the team. Itd be fun for you to progress your Fantasy Team.
