Controller Config with Xbox type Controller?

I just bought a Mad Catz PC controller (it looks like an Xbox controller but its for PC)... it has 2 triggers

the problem i have is that the PC version of Live 2005 doesnt recognize the trigger buttons as they are considered analog... so i have the left/right analog sticks and also 2 analog triggers

does anyone know how to create a configuration to include not just 2 analog sticks but 2 triggers also? I cant seem to use the turbo and backdown button because of this problem...

i tried going into the "My Documents/Nba Live 2005/configs"
and tried to edit some of the configuration files there but im not sure how it works... was wondering if anyone could help me fix this problem...

The only thing i know about controller configuration is when you start playing a game click on the gamepad icon on the controller selction and then change the pad setting to configue with your pad.

yeah i tried that... but the problem is the game doesnt recognize the "trigger" buttons of my controller since they are analog just like the XBOX controllers...

on the PC version of Live it only has gamepad configs for controllers with only 2 analog sticks and 10 other buttons (ps2 style)...

the XBox type controller is 2 analog sticks, 2 analog triggers and 8 buttons...

i was hoping there was a way to add definitions to the config files to include the 2 analog xbox type triggers into the game....

Well couldnt you configure it so that it doesnt need the 2 analog triggers and just use it like a ps2 pad?
