Light problem

Hello,
I just got NBA live 2005 and I can not activate light effects! NL2004 was OK and I thought there would not be any problem for this one to work properly on my PC.
I have installed directX 9.0b as required and I wonder if it is not in cause?
Indeed, the shadows of any objects appear in white colour as I can not modify the field "light" in graphical parameters.
