more ram?

Postby vinodhv on Thu Dec 23, 2004 10:10 am

hey
i have a p3 laptop, with 256 ram, nvidia geforce 2 go 32 mb (for dell mobile). I can run the game and have no problems in the practice, 1on1, and slamdunk modes. However, when i run an actual 5on5 game, the game slows down and lags. would this problem be solved if i upgraded my ram, to say a total of 512mb? thanks

the ram won't do you much good. for most part, more ram just decreases the loading time. game lags like you experience are from a bad graphics card, and upgrading a graphics card for a laptop costs a lot of money. you're better of saving for a new laptop :)
