NBA Live for PC

Do you guys recomend the PC version of Live over the PS2 one? Im tryin to decide whether its worth getting it. PS2 is taking just way to long to get out Roster Updates. Thanks in advance

Yeah. If your a Graphic type patcher and editor person, PC is your way. If you just want a good game everywhere with easy online play then go with PS2. Also easier control.

I recommend PS2 over PC even though i use PC version.

I generally prefer the PC version for its higher level of customisation, quicker loading times and the ability to save boxscores and screenshots to external files. As far as the gameplay is concerned, there's no difference.

If your PC will struggle with NBA Live 2005, I would definitely recommend the PS2 version. A terrible framerate and lengthy loading times do not make for an enjoyable video gaming experience.

Postby truballa227 on Fri Dec 24, 2004 8:39 am

I listened to you guys and got the pc game but now my logitech controller isnt working. Every time i load up the NBA Live game it always reads the keyboard. Outside of the game it says its installed and ready but at the controller setup menu i cant get it to stay on logitech. Any help would be great.

gfx wise, it all depends on ur card, if it looks bad then it means u dont have a powerful card...

GFX Card is your graphics card. For some specs...right click on MY COMPUTER, then click PROPERTIES. It should say some shit under COMPUTER.

Your not suppose to set it to max... Some cant handle. Mine looks great at max just slow and lagging so i set it to lowest possible.

The Graphics Card is what your Monitor is hooked to and what displays all the pixels and etc throughout your computer. Stronger is it more stuff you can do with it.

If it looks soo bad that you cant play it on lowest settings then you need a new one. If your at least able to play then shouldnt be complaining. No im not showing any anger towrads you  (j/p).

But mine is Decent. better than old ones.

If you buy something just for Live you can get a card like an nVidia geforce 4200 which I have. They are dirt cheap and the game runs well on it.

The graphics will not be much better with a card a lot more expensive.
