editing salary cap

does anyone know how you can edit the salary cap in 2005. I am not trying to edit it unrealistically but at the moment it is way to unrealistic with team 40 mil over the cap. I no how do it in 2004 but i cant find the way to do it in this years. It is recking the fun because it makes it really hard to trade for anyone and impossible to sign an average player as a free agent. if you no it would be greatly appreciated

well, it's not really unrealistic, as they are the real salaries

i'm not really sure if there is a way or not (besides just editing individual player salaries down). it seems that this has been discussed before but my tired eyes can't find where at.
