Player DBF editing for fantasy league

Hey everyone...
I'm tyring to create a roster with actual NBA player appearances and values, but with different player names. The one thing I can't seem to get around is getting the players to be referred to as "Player Number" instead of their name. Seems to me as though Appearance and Audio Files are connected!?

If anyone has any idea what I can do to keep the appearance and drop the name (audio that is called during in game and player intros) than go ahead and suggest!

Try editing the NICKNAMEID field in players.dbf. It looks like quite a few have a specialized nickname that may be cross-referenced to an audio file. BE SURE TO BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL PLAYERS.DBF FILE FIRST!!!

hey framebrain. Thanks for the heads up. I actually just noticed that value today. I didn't try doing anything to it yet but I will def try your suggestion.
