Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

cklitsie - and1 uprise

Postby cklitsie on Fri Oct 29, 2004 9:10 am

This is my first official patch I'm releasing as a nbalive.org member. As some of you may already have noticed, nba-store became .org hosted and changed to store.nbalive.org. I want to thank everybody who made this possible. Also thanks to the guys who gave me the files to make this patch (I don't have the game yet).

I hope 2005 will be as much fun as 2004. To all nbalive.org patchers: if you need a shoe to be patched, you can contact me with pictures and I'll see what I can do.

Anyone who wants to uses this patch, please read the readme.txt file, included in the .zip.

Nice shoes, I'm glad you made some And1's because I'm getting tired of seeing those tai chi's in the game and I now jwill can wear these in my dynasty

Will this add new shoes? Or will this patch replace them?

Very nice (Y)
Nice to see shoe-patchers staying for 2005, and not crossing over to other more prestigeous ares off patching ;)

So the shoe format is pretty much the same for 2005.
Is there any diference at all, like it was between 03-04?

Thanks for all the comments (a lot more than on .org), I know the install doesn't work so if you want to use these check my thread on the other forum.

The shoe format changed a small bit, I'm not even sure if these line up 100%, I just guessed a bit.

Nice job on the shoes man... they look fine on the players

Looking at these in comparison to all the other sh*t shoes in 2005... it's like SNES and XBOX. How Ea can have pride in this release is baffling.

edit

I just tried getting some of the shoes I had from 2003 and 2004 into the game, namely the jordan retro 1s and the jordan retro 11s. through FSHex and BigGUI I had no problem importing them, but they look a tad screwy on the models, how did you fix this with your shoes? If you let me know I can get in contact with whoever made the original shoes and then release the updated ones.

Noticed something a little weird earlier today when playing. In the slam dunk contest, the floor reflection didnt show the shoe, instead just a purplish kinda thing where the shoes, would be, did anyone else get this problem too?

Same here, if you play without reflections the purple thing is gone

Anyway the shoes are great

P.S. If ANY of you are of age and haven't voted yet, There's still roughly an hour and a half left (Eastern Standard Time). GET OUT THERE AND GET BUSH OUT OF OFFICE!!! :o

First you need to download th FSHX tool

extract any shoe file (Sh043 are the T_MAC) from .../sgsm/common/xshoes.viv (using EA graph)
open the file with the FSHX and you will notice that are 2 images, the small one is the reflection on the court.

the files send by cklitsie doesnt have that small image......

PM me if you need any help

BTW cklitsie youre shoes are great
