Went to EB today and they have told me the PS2 Release date for NBA Live 2005 is...

October 28

On a side note the PS2 release date for ESPN 2K5 is...

November 28

Which EB?? I went into my local EB in Townsville QLD today to pre-order it and they had it in stock! (This is for xbox never checked for PS2). I was surprised to see it there and the store manager told me that EB had an exculsive early release arrangement for the game.

Double check with your EB store, I'm not complaining since I get to play the game nearly a week earlier than expected.

my local store (Hollywood Plaza) is getting it on the 28th as well.

Yep I checked EB in Brisbane (Toombul to be exact) and they've also said 28th was the go.

My EB (Fountain Gate) also has the game available for purchase on both PS2 and X-Box (Y)
