Cap room problems, any info?

Postby flipz on Fri Oct 08, 2004 1:06 am

I did some research and found out that most teams in the nba are above cap,way over. Michael Curry is on the raps although he signed with another team. As the GM, I have to release him since I like playing with the real life roster plus Jerome Moiso is a free agent and so I should sign him.Can someone please help by telling me how this affects the team salaries and aloso the total team budget?I know wat salary cap is but if every team is above, then trades shouldn't be possible, right?Help please!

you can still trade if you are over the cap, and in the real nba still sign players, though in live we dont get the ML so we cant. if the player salaries are close, i think +/- 10%?(something) then the trade is ok. you can also still sign players for league min. i hope we get the mid level in next years live. hmm wonder if thats on the wishlist yet.

Think it's +/- 20%, but I could be wrong.
