Small Players

Postby Steve [The Spiderman] on Tue Oct 05, 2004 6:20 am

I have heard a lot about players being too small...what I have to say about this is when they spread the floor to make it bigger to give more space like everyone asked for, what do you think happens to the player size?

Could you please post it again, I don't really understand what you mean.

Do you mean it's all close in or what?

I think he means that they made the players smaller so there is more room on the court and therfore the spacing is much better.

OOOOO, Now I see.

Yes I agree the players seem to fit the court better this year.

I think what SAG375 is asking whether the players are the right size or too small for the court?

it still feels too small too me. why don't they just make it bigger?
is it just me or is the backboard too far away from the baseline too. check the top down view on the shot chart.
That's one thing (about the only thing) i like about the ESPN games. i feel like the court is bigger and i have more room to play with. In the Live games i always end up working the same spot of the floor every possession.

Looks and feels fine to me.

Change the cam view to the sideline then the players look big.

You could also zoom in even more.

I second SAG375.

Thats how they got rid of the spacing problem. I think.

Its still small for me. Even on sideview zoomed all the way in. Its too straining on the eyes.

Maybe i just got used to Live 2004 too much.

Or maybe i just cant get the picture of how awesome ESPN's broadcast view is that i constantly search for more from the views in Live.

SOrry EA but VC really got you in that dept. It might cost you a number of bball video game players.
