PC Game question

i was wondering do you need a anolog controller for the PC version of the game for the dunk contest?

Yes, a dual analog controller is strongly recommended for the PC version. Freestyle with the keyboard is very limited and the dunk contest will pretty much be impossible without a dual analog controller.

Has there been a list of supported gamepads made available for Live 2005? Is it the same as NHL? I expect it is, which will be very annoying as my controller isn't on their list.

This is the first time I've heard of games not supporting all controllers and it -would- have to be the one game of the year I'm dying to play.

I don't know if there is a list or whatnot but you can wait for the game to come out and then you'll see.

would you be able to reccommend a type of analog controller for computer? if you say i wont be able to play it with keyboard then i need to get me a controller. thanx mate :cool:

I believe the standard controller which is the recommended by EA is Logitech's Dual Action Controller. Every gamer has their own preference but the Dual Action Controller is rather inexpensive at $20 and is designed almost exactly like a PS2 Controller.

Joemimic, where ya been???

Does anyone (possibly who has the console version) know if you are able to have two user controlled players for one controller? I have my logitech pad I always use, but only one. If I wanted to compete with a friend could we share a controller?

If you mean in the slam dunk contest and the three point contest then the answer is yes.

Edit: for console anyway.

Don't buy the logitech dual analog controller, its quality is very bad. My 1st logitech controller went bad after 1 week of intensive use then I had it replaced but the 2nd one went bad after 1 week. There are other better controllers available at comparable prices (Nostromo for $20, etc).

get the Thrustmaster Dual Pro. I've had it for 4 years now and its THE best controller I've ever put in my hands(no exageration).

It think its $35 but its worth it
