I cant beleive EA was that lazy to keep shoes from last year that no one is goinng to wear this year.

There are so many better things EA could be spending their time working on in this game than putting in realistic, custom shoes. I never understood why Live fans (or ESPN fans, for that matter) make such a big deal about the shoes in the game.

Shoes define players in basketball. They're a big part of the game.
It would look fucked up if Michael Jordan wore Adidas or Reebok.

How can you even tell what kind of shoes they're wearing? It's like 5 pixels or something.
If it were up to me, I'd just make everyone wear generic shoes. Screw it. They're spending too much time worrying about trivial crap like apparel and not focusing on actual gameplay issues.

They do only take up a small portion of the screen, but when I see Jordan wearing the 11's I know that all is right in the world. If you've always cared about shoes, seeing the correct shoes in NBA Live is a great feeling. It Adds more realism then you'd think, honestly.
