Operation Sports: Do they have High School phenoms enter the draft?
NBA Live 2005 Team: Due to NBA limitations there are no High School players amongst the generated rookies, but there is the chance that a youngster can become a phenom. The odds of one of these phenoms coming out of the draft is far and few between. We also made it so some great looking first-rounders can be busts and 2nd round picks can turn into good NBA players.

Operation Sports: Will there be in-game saves? NBA Live 2005 Team: Unfortunately we didn't have time to implement an in-game saves feature this year. This is something that we are looking at doing next year with NBA LIVE 2006.

No high schoolers will kill the realism for me but overall that sounds awesome.

I love the fact that some might be busts and others might be "gems"

Kareem is in the game, about damn time.

I saw some 18 year olds listed in the draft, so maybe they are one year of college guys who are almost 19?

That is perhaps the greatest addition to the game in my opinion. The fact that even if you don't have a great pick you can still get a quality rookie is something Live has needed for a while. I also can't remember if I'm remembering this from a thread of wishing, or it was written that it was actually in Live 06, but they need to make it harder to acquire rookies via trade. You can always trade for the #1 pick for a few decent/scrubbies.

Geez, not again. When did they take it out, I think 2001, right? And every year we hear that above excuse. :(
