do they say rookies names

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

do they say rookies names

It would add a lot of realism to say "williams" instead of "number 6", don't you agree?

I think last year if you made a player and his last name was the same as another NBA player the announcers would say it. Not sure on that though.

I don't think they do or they would've mentioned it. It would be nice if they at least said the draft pick names though, we can still hope :?

It's been a feature in a few previous Lives, never one that is used as a selling point though. They might have fixed the surname recognition, but as fgrep15 said it hasn't been mentioned anywhere. I guess we won't know until we see some hands-on previews that mention it or we get the game ourselves.

Man it would be great if they did it but I'm thinkin' it's not a high priority fix for EA. Bottom line though they have done it before with Live 2000 then there is no reason they can't do it again ... guess only time will tell.

yeah i agree with andrew, this is something that dont really sell a game so it never get mentioned. the only way i think we would find this out before the game is released is if someone were to ask tim or another live member in a interview pre release

They had this feature in Live 2003, i remember creating Carmelo Anthony and they said his family name (was cool).
