Create-A-Sneaker (It's not a shoe, this is basketball!)

This feature is in that other basketball game we hear around these boards so much now-a-days, so my Idea is for EA to bite this Idea for NBA Live 2006. But here's how we are gonna make it better, not only will real sneakers already be in the game but since EA has the liscence to show the logos we can custom create a sneaker for our create a player with the teams Home, Away plus All-star game colors (red, white and Blue) and add the logo of our favorite sneaker company (Nike, Adidas, or Reebok) or a made up one by EA (supply a couple).

This could be a way of having sneaker contracts, so lets say Nike like's your C-A-P stats in your dynasty mode so now they want to sign you, you have to create your own sneaker. First you must start by choosing of you want an existing family like Hurachie, Air zoom, ect. The mode has to have the ability to create look alikes of real sneakers just in case we want to have a similar look but not be signed with the company and just have a made up logo, ex LeBron 1st sneaker and His 2nd sneaker (both are different but are from the same family. Put no shame in the game EA, look at Vc's way of doing this and expand).

P.S it's all in comoition, think about it. This will be there most creative feature and we must take it and expand, Cause next year I expect them to take our All-satr weekend. (we need point guard challenge in this event by the way, but i'm not complaining).

This will be hot for the streets.

*I hope they don't take out the ASW...*

this is basketball.. not Shoe Design Fashion 101.

there can be so many better things to add to the gameplay.. then again only these little "gimmicks" and yess i think there gimmicks on EA's and VC's part, are attracting new customers and making them money.

I think it's a good idea. BUT it'll take away from other important areas that the game could work on to become a better gameplay game.

Some people just love to play a game and not play with all the unneccesary features... If it was an addon feature and could be turned off, id be down with that because I would not want to deal with creating shoes and negotiating SHOE deals..

I couldnt have said it better myself
Although i think getting deals from company's and sponsorships would be a good idea, kinda like Tiger Woods PGA Tour, but there are other things to improve, I agree with you (Y)

Yeah, EA doesn't have Live on Madden status yet... The game is not good enough where they can start putting in pointless features like Madden (create a fan, c'mon now)... off-topic- what's next for madden? create a cheerleader?

I agree with qballer, EA Canada needs to make NBA Live the best that it can be before they start adding pointless stuff like create a sneaker.

A nice idea, but an expanded create-a-player feature as well as create-a-team and create-a-coach should be higher on the list of priorities.

The only reason why ESPN has that feature in the game, is because they dont have the official brand shoes that NBA Live has, I rahter want them to spend time to fix other things instead of including these dumb useless extra features, thats what ESPN is all about....useless features in the hope to sell the game more.
