The ridiculous one hand passing

Postby BShaw20 on Sat Sep 11, 2004 4:43 pm

Looks like it is still there, the pass that looks like they are flinging the ball....also why show the players warming up before the game, the starters do not warm up, the entire team does! Also how come they only announce the home lineups???

I was disappointed seeing the horrible "one hand pass" (or, the lob) animation in the game again. As your complaint about the starting lineups and starts only warming up, it's been like that in past Live games, and it didn't bother me much then.

The thing that bothered me with the player intros, is when they went:

And the other guard. That was a little irratating.

Also, they always save the best player for last, which is a good (real-life)thing. But they should make the crowd get noticably louder for Tim Duncan in the Spurs Vs Rockets video. That's how it goes in real life, and it wouldn't be very hard to add.

Man, take a look at the first 19 seconds of the SAC vs. MEM game where Bibby is making the lob pass to Brad Miller. The ball literally floats, and Bibby's one hand passing animation is incredibly slow! If EA is reading this, they should get this fixed asap (if possible) as well as the other critiques I've posted in the other threads. I'm convinced that they hired ballet dancers to fill in for some of the mo-cap, no offense :) A lot of the ball speed and player animation speeds need to be fixed to be more realistic. Hopefully this will be accomplished in the final stages.
