it sounds fun, but I think because of the fact they said they have no cut-scenes this year, they will be probably look like crap in presentation compared to ESPN this year, but i'm sure the other parts will be nice. I know ESPN has cut-scenes, pre game show, halftime show etc. In game highlight reels etc.
I love the fact that you can play one-on-one with a potential draftee on your team, that's a very nice added feature. I'm making everyone match up with kobe :)

haha, in a raping contest?

Just kidding.

I will miss the cut scenes too. I never used to skip them much, i like the added atmosphere they bring. But im sure they will return bigtime next year.

I just read the interview about 15 minutes ago (I checked IGN Sports before logging into the forum, which is why I didn't credit anyone when I posted the link on the NLSC), and I liked what I read.

In fact, I'm a little surprised. As good as the other previews have sounded, I was surprised to see that the Dynasty Mode overhaul has been so thorough. I didn't think they'd be able to do so much within a year. There's more to be done in future NBA Lives, but this really does sound like an awesome foundation for Dynasty Mode.

I felt that I'd be satisfied with Dynasty Mode as it was portrayed in earlier interviews, but this really surpassed my expectations. I didn't think it was possible to scrap a mode and rebuild it in the way the interview describes in such a short period of time.

I know, I'm judging the game before I even get my hands on it but those tidbits sound much more exciting than pretty much any information we've received about Franchise/Dynasty Mode in the last three years or so. With great expectations comes the chance of great disappointment, but I don't think that I will be disappointed when I finally get to play it.

that's cold man! Yes he's a bad person for cheating on his wife, but i think everyone in the country knows that he didn't rape anyone. That's why it didn't go to court. Once they found out that this girl has been with more people in one night than wilt chamberlain, the case was closed, she justed wanted the money and was a slut, that simple :)

yeah, i think it will definately be the best live yet, even if it has flaws because of all the additions it has this year.

Hey Andrew,

I feel the same way about that interview, and I also didn't believe they could do so much in a year.

I pre-ordered my game from gamesmarket awhile back, boy im wishing it was on my door right now. Actually not right now, coz im at work and someone would steal it :)

When you start out, though, you'll see that Training Camp is back, only now we fixed it so you don't have players becoming worse in training camp.

Man i'm so amped for this game. I said that wasn't concerned with the dynasty but looking at all this stuff i think it might be my favorite thing about the game.

IS ANYONE SAD/ UPSET ABOUT NO CUTSCENES?
I'm not personally, just want to see what you all think

It sounds great that the dynasty is really in-depth this year.
And I like the user menu this year. Look at the schedule, I like this kind of presentation, it gives the game some colors (that is lacked last year).

to be honest, it's not a big deal for me since I always skip the cut-scenes if I've seen before.

lol, yea, she does seem like a hoe. I was just joking by the way, clearly he was innocent and after his money, and probably fame. :D

Now back to topic, um yea...... how cool is this game gonna be :) I may never see sunlight again!

Great find  , Dynasty mode looks great!

The cut scenes get old after the first hour anyway. I'm glad they took them out.

Yes, yes, yes, yes! This interview has really got me buzzing right now. The more I hear about NBA Live 2005 the more I feel like this is the year. Y'all know what I mean?

This is the year! When I say this I mean the hope that NBA Live will take it to the next level like I know they're capable of, every year I get optimistic around this time. They've never completely let me down (except for 2001 and 2002 but I still played it) but I always had these high hopes that I'd finally get a basketball videogame on the level of Madden and other notable sports franchises like NHL, Fifa, etc.

This certainly sounds like the year and I'm pleased with everything they've done including omitting cut scenes though it appears that this wasn't a conscious omission on their part. Cut scenes to me are a waste of time 'cause hey, you'll watch them for what? 2, 3 weeks maybe and then you'll probably skip them anyway.

Can't wait 'til October 5th y'all, I simply can't wait!

I'm not too disappointed. They're nice and they do contribute to the atmosphere, but I feel NBA Live 2005 is going to be just fine without them. ;)

Can anyone tell me how to grab some of those franchise images from IGN? I wanted to post the new pics in the NBA Live section of my NBA message board where I moderate but they won't let me. I get that stupid red "X" instead....

Perhaps they just don't allow you to, but I've seen members here post pics from IGN I believe so there must be a way.......

why cant they just add in a video of the MVP getting the award instead of letting us stare at some stats...i mean...maybe JUST make 1 for the final mvp?

I PM'd you just a few minutes ago about that very question. I don't want anyone here to think I'm spamming or trying to turn anyone away from the NLSC's NBA Talk section, that's not my style.... :)

Damn, it's gonna be a long wait... Everything Tim said sounds really promising... I just hope that they've done a good job on all the new additions as they can get people really excited and afterwards really disappointed if something is only half-implemented etc.

I love the scouting system... I love it all. And the way he said all over the interview that you can hire better scouts, better trainers, etc. It makes me wonder what else can you hire??? Or advance...

It will certainly be a better dynasty than ever before... I just hope they get the basics right and don't mess up on something really pivotal. Like in 2001, when all the original players would score exactly the same scores through out their careers no matter what their ratings were...

Gotta love it... Wonder when it hits Finland with the PC version...
