LIVE 2005: Elbow Hangs (Slam-Dunk Contest)

Well,

As you may know NBA STREET VOL.2 calls this dunk, "The Honey Dip". Now in Street VOL.2 this dunk looks exactly the way Vince Carter did it in the Slam-Dunk Contest a couple years back. For some reason, the elbow hang in LIVE 2005's Dunk Contest looks rediculous. I'm not going to complain as it is a minor part of the game, but if you watch video "NBA Dunk Modifier Tutorial" and you watch when Fred Jones does the elbow hang, you'll probably notice it looks a little corny the his entire arm is in the rim and also the way he gets down from the rim.

Maybe EA SPORTS should have copyed the animation used for the elbow hang from the Street VOL.2 game which, in my opinion, looks much better.

It could be done, but i don`t think EA is going to change that.

Anyways,i noticed that before and that looked pretty odd.

i'm pretty sure they designed it to me 2 different dunks-> one dunk= the elbow hang, another dunk= elbow hang with the arm slipping into the rim until the shoulder

I noticed too, when he gets off the rim, it looks weird. Watch them take their arm out of the rim and it looks a little weird..

Yes. They should have just got the animation from EASPORTS BIG from the STREET VOL.2 game which looks way hotter!
