Thrilled as I was to play the newest installment of nba live for pc, after playing the game for just over an hour i was absolutely disgusted. The interface is the same as the ps2's!!! They could have just modded the madden interface, designed one FOR THE COMPUTER but instead they make dynasty type mode incredible tedious. Then the worst part, the franchise mode was better in 2000. Back then see, you could run more than one franchise, tracy mcgrady and pierce wouldn't mysteriously start averaging 18 points per game after year one, and it didn't have a ridiculous training camp mode where, any way you do it, your players will just get worse! This is absolutely terrible, and shows EA's inherent laziness with their product for the PC! They even put "import top college players" on the pc box, even though they don't make a college game for pc!
I therefore CALL OTHER ENTHUSIASTS TO ACTION. We must unite, e-mail our concerns directly to ea sports, and also petition espn to make a basketball game for the computer. Nba live can't have a damn monopoly, or else they have no incentive to make a good product! This makes me so angry, but we must fight this.
