NBA LIVE is good but...

1). Why would you limit Dynasty mode to just one team? Now I can't play a on-going franchise-like season with my friends.

2). Why did they decustomize the controller setup screen? I can't assign defense and offense separately now.

3). Why did they take out the 1600X1200 resolution? Playing @ 1280 makes everything look blocky.

4). Did you guys notice that they removed the direct IP connect function also? (This was foreseeable due to their push to standardize online gaming.)

From the prospective of a console user I can see why they made these changes. However, EA has to understand that console and PC users have different needs. Since there aren't that many PC basketball game out in the market I think they tend to overlook the PC users in terms of needs and desires. At this rate I don't see myself buying the game next year.

I have the PC version and they have Direct IP connection.

1. I totally agree, but i'm sure it was because this was a new inclusion. I'm sure 2005 will have it, I hope.
3. I feel you--but I'm palying with AA on 4x and antitrosping(sp) at 4x as well, and the game looks great!

Sorry, I just got the game I needed to vent. I didn't notice the direct IP connect feature, maybe I overlooked it. Yeah we need to run this game @ 1600X1200 that would rock!

EA do this everyyear, they add features then takeout features.
