Why no Bobcats???

doesnt it deflate anyone elses view on dynasty mode when you know that there is supposed to be a charlotte team in 2005 - but they aren't available in dynasty mode when the second season starts?

it would have been an awesome feature (imo) and one that many gamers would probably have loved.

the game is supposed to be realistic is all im sayin.

I thought it would be coll if after the first season they had an expansion draft and you would have to pick players that are "safe" from the draft and ones you're willing to let go. IMO that would've been sweet!

Hell yeh, also in 2010 they should have international expansion and add all the teams around the world. Then in 2060 you should be able to add all of the Mars colony teams and then add the Xeno exhibition teams to the exhibitions schedules in 2080!

Seriously though, it may be possible to with a side program. I don't have my hands on the game yet, but if its anything like it has been the last couple years, adding a new team with an editor after your first season should be more than possible.

I don't know if you would be able to create realignment though of the divisions/conferences.

Well I don't have the PC version of 2004 so I won't be able to edit anything!!! And I'm pretty sure you can't screw around with the allignment of the divisions or conferences. I think you just pick your team in dynasty and go. Cuz I wanted to put New Orleans in the west but I haven't figured out how!

Bobcats in the Dynasty would be great. Obviously not for the first couple of years, because they're simply awful, but you'd get a crap load of lottery picks, and hopefully you'd be able to get them into title contention.

The reason why the bobcats aren't included in the dynasty mode is coz next season the NBA will enforce a 3 division conference. Instead of the 2 division conference we're used to. Plus the New Orleans Hornets will now move to the Western Conference.

The EA team doesn't have enough time and resources to include that kind of format yet 'coz it isn't implemented in the NBA until next season.

it's not looking to promising, dynasty always freezes after tc.

If peeps really want it, I think it would be possible to make a little utility for PC users that you can run after your first season. You could exit the game, run the utility, and then the proggy would add the Bobcats, move the Hornets to the Western Conference, run an expansion draft, and move the Hornets to the #1 Pick in the draft.

I'd need the rules for the expansion draft though and some time to make an AI for picking which players are eligible for the draft and then drafting the final players.

well i'd love it if its possible, i thought it would be possible too but i'm not having any look importing them into the season with dbf editing and all. th expansion draft rule is u protect 8 players on your team, and charlotte can pick any of the remaining ones. if you wanna make it realistic, leave some big salary guys like baker, penny, and so on available, usually thats what teams do...

so thanks a ton if u do this, it'd really make me happy lol.

Yeh it looks like I'm having the same problem getting them to show up in Dynasty so its not looking good. Going to see if I can figure it out.
