generated rookies from little town

i have the game for ps2 and when i generated the rookies and looked at them during the draft there were 9 people from my small little town(10,000 people) in the upper peninsula of michigan...i dont know why they would have so many people from the same town(especially one so small). not that this effects the game in any way because its not a big deal...i just thought it was kind of weird that it was like this

It's kind of weird. Well, I havent really payed attention to town yet. But I will now! Maybe the random drawn people were leaning towards your little town. In my opinion-SOUNDS COOL.

lol yea...i thought it was cool the first 2 people but to have 9 people from my little town in the same draft was kinda weird...next time you do it look for the town i am talking bout (ishpeming, mi.) see if you find ne one

In NCAA Football 2004, they have recruits from ALL OVER the US. There were some from my city too, which is part of LA County.

A little off-topic, but how are the rookie ratings? Are there steals in the second rounds? If so, are there TOO MANY steals in the second round?

Do you have a created player in your Dynasty (ie yourself) with your home town? If so, then it's likely you'll see some generated players from your home town.

good thinking andrew...i do have myself created from my home tome(ishpeming)...that must be why there are soo many....in ncaa they had my hometown too

Did any of your created players have your town in as "Birthplace"? I think that might be the reason.
