to make live 2004 more realistic......

has anybody messed with the fatigue bar much? i was thinking maybe if u set the fatigue bar WAY up it'll make things more realistic.....like yea u might be able to run a lot of fastbreaks in the beginning but eventually ur bar is going down......and when its down shots dont go as much.....and when was the last time someone wasn't fatigued in a real nba game towards the end........unless they rested the first 5-6 minutes of the quarter....did anybody try this yet? i think with this it'll slow the pace of the game a lot......or i could be wrong...what are ur thoughts?

Hey thats a great idea. I hope some of you guys try this. I can definitely see it making the 4th quarters a lot more interesting. A real battle of wills. And yes, the fg% and scoring may be lower aswell as the overall pace. I'd like to hear about what happens when you do this.

The 'Fatigue Effect' slider is the one that affects how much fatigue effects performance.

I have mine set to 50 and I notice that in the 4th my team is clearly not as crisp as they were in the 1st. I can never hold a lead.

Yeah I'm getting the game on monday next week and I'll adjust the fatique slider to the extreme and see what happens in the 4th quarter and to the overall stats.

I just love how fatigue carries over in this game. I turn the stamina bar on so that I will know who is tired in my games.

cool

Postby flylice31 on Thu Oct 30, 2003 1:59 am

thats cool but do you still happen to have high scoring games?? have u ever tried to do 12 minute quarters with the fatigue at very high? cuz maybe then you have to "conserve" ur moves throughout the game and ur forced to play at a slower pace....and im' sure the ocmputer would too or else it'll run out of energy.....

I play 8 or 9 minute quarters and I haven't had a game below 80 yet.

I think it has to do with the infamous "Shaq vs. Kobe" feud that's going on right now recently. They had some bitter spats against each other and I'm guessing ChicagoBulls6in8 didn't like what Shaq said.

It is in a way what cyanide said. I think shaq is a big azz baby. The most dominant player in the game and he is a soft sissy.

That may be the case with other guys but that isn't the case with me. I do think Kobe is an amazing athlete though.

The same guy who attacks Shaq with words such as "childlike," "fat," "jealous," and "selfish" and cheats on his beautiful wife, who thinks he can opt out of his contract at the end of the season when he has a chance to be in jail by then? :)

i actually still play live 2000 today just waiting for the pc version of 04 to come out......but i always find myself taking my guys out couple minutes before the 4th quarter ends and calling all my timeouts until i have 4 left....then i just put them in for the rest of the 4th quarter.......in a way thats not as realistic cuz most of my guys have a green bar still by the end of the quarter....(12 min qts).....so hpefully witht he new fatigue slider i can make it so that all the players on the courts are exhausted unless i put in like the 12th man

So, what's your point? Just because they're great, it's ok they can cheat on their own wife? That's awful. I saw in a tabloid (who knows if it's real or not) that Halle Berry's husband cheated on her. Who in the world would cheat on Halle Berry when you have Halle Berry??? That's the point I'm trying to make.

No, I'm not saying it's okay. I'm just making the point that he made a mistake and greater men have made mistakes. He is sorry for it and his wife has forgiven him so why shouldn't I or anyone else for that matter.

The argument about Kobe doesn't belong in this forum and will turn into a flame.

Talk about the thread subject...not insulting Kobe or each other.
