how is this feature? can u abouse it like u could the first year madden had it?

No you can't abuse it, teams are reluctant to give up draft picks from my experience.

The only way the CPU will trade their draft pick if the the interest meter of the pick is almost or at the end. They best time to trade for the picks is in between the alll-star game and of course the deadline. I am happy to say since I've had Live I have sucessfully traded for 9 draftpicks. This is a great feature.

I had to give up penny hardaway for a draft pick.
I got 3rd pick and got an awesome guard rated 80 overall.
Way above penny's rating.
