Referees just standing under the basket.

The referees in live doesn't follow the supposedly up and down court motion like in nba 2k series. It doesnt really affect the game play but it will be much better if they also running up and down the court cause it would give a much realism.

We have to be honest here people. Ive always been dedicated and loyal to yhe live series but this year, ESPN just blows live out the water. HAve you seen the movies? From the courtside actions, crowd, dancers, mascots. I mean everyhing is right there. All refs in the game and the move and dont disappear like the live one does. The crossover dribble moves even appears more fuild and conviencing. The gamepaly also looks like it won't be too far off Live's. SO when you adding all the little details that EA omtitted like the freethrows rituals and so on, it makes ESPN just that much better than Live. I just cant deny it anymore, the only reason I was so loyal to the Live series was mainly because the games generally look better on the PC than the consoles besides, i can patch the hell out of it. but now that i have a console, I can finally be more Objective. I think EA has got too confident and just dont try as hard anymore. I mean the left out refs for the past three years while 2k series has had them all along. now that EA brought the refs back, they are as stiff as my Dick when i think of Halley berry naked. Its just inexcusable.
I know most people would say as long as the gameplay is good...... but thats not so true anymore, i mean, if ESPN can do both to add to the realism of the game, why not EA?

Well i can say i'm not loyal to either brand but every year i rent every b-ball game to find out which is best and i always end up with live. Nba2k4 will be worth renting and i'll reserve my judgement till then but i'll say this, live is gonna be hard to top for espn!

WalleO you make good points but anything you say before you've actually played 'Espn Basketball' is only speculation.
