XBOX, dirty or damaged disc error

Everytime I play the game, I get the dreaded "Dirty or Damaged disc" error. I went to EA's site and they say that a corrupt save file may be the cause. I deleted all saved files, and booted up the game again without saving anything. The error seems to occur if I pause the game for at least 10 minutes. The disc looks pretty clean with little or no scratch marks.

Could this be a problem with my XBOX ? Everything else runs perfectly fine. I do get some of the sound stuttering in RAW 2, but I believe that's common for everyone.

Should I trade the disc for another XBOX disc ? I also have a PS2 that I could exchange for.

This is really just to hold me over until the PC version comes out. Then I'm trading in whatever console version I have.

unfortunetly, you can't patch hardware..

Naa this only happens with EA games. It happens in both NCAA 2003 & 2004 and I'm sure it may happen in Madden.

Shit back when NCAA 2003 came out that happened 2 me and I bought another one and it happened again and both disc were perfectly clean.

That shit is crazy annoying

go for the ps2 disc..no probs on PS2..

On my Live 04 on Xbox my sound sometimes messes up it ill just keep skiping and I can still be able to play but all Ill hear is the darn skipping


Also nothing is wrong with my NCAA football 2004 game it works fine

listen when i first got nba live 2004 i couldnt start my game either, but i went back to gamestop exchanged it, and it still didnt work. So i got this thing that cleans the lens, of the console. And it worked

Gay graphics? Please..theres so many better games for the PS2, besides, every good game that comes out for xbox will come out for pc bc they can basically directly port it..

Wait for Gran Turismo 4, that game will blow 3/4ths of the games for Xbox out of the water graphically. Probably, even more than that! And, i will also invest many hours playing it. I'm also sure there will be no PC port of the game..

I've seen the graphics, I know, I have a GeForce 3 card in my computer, those are the graphics of an XBox, I'm not a huge graphics guy anyway, I'm just saying Gran Turismo 4 will blow mostly anything out of the water on the X Box graphics-wise cuz they can use the PS2 to it's full potential..

Oh yeah by the way xbox also loads faster than ps2 and the dirty disc
error is because their was something wrong with his system

xbox sucks imo and it doesnt load faster then ps2 i tried the xbox at walmart and some games load slower then a ps2 one plus ps2 graphics dont suck either. plus xbox has more problems getting games to work then ps2 does.

In walmart game system blow up and if i could i would show you that it
