I was thinking of putting the free agents on the Bobcats or putting all the unlockable rappers with them.

My Bobcats are made up of scrubs and retreads who used to play for the Bulls:

C Greg Foster
PF Jason Caffey
SF Corey Benjamin
SG AJ Guyton
PG Matt Maloney
C Dalibor Bagaric
PF Mark Bryant
PF Charles Oakley
PG Randy Brown

I don't see what the point is of even having the Bobcats in the game if you can't even use them in a custom season. The franchise is pretty much unplayable because of the free agent bug. I had the opportunity to sign Iverson and Marbury to the minimum after one season.

After renting the game, I don't think there's any way I'd buy it for the PC.

Yeah, they signed them in July. Malone to the $1M exception and Payton to the mid-level exception ($4.5M), which they don't have in Live. They weren't waiting around to be signed by whoever for the league minimum in October. (Certainly not the Bulls!)

Live needs to implement cap exceptions and minimum salary scales so that teams aren't totally crippled by the cap every year.
