My Review of 2004 (ps2)

Well after getting dicked around by Wal-Mart, Sam Goody and Best Buy I finally got my copy from Sam Goody (the last one 
) And here's my impressions.
When I first put the game in it gave me 1000 points for the NBA Store from my EA Bio so that was cool. I went in and checked out the store which had some really cool retro jerseys, but that's about it. I like the different headbands but you can't even put them on anyone except a created player. The gameplay IMO is extremely improved from last year. And the sliders really do work when you tweak them. I LOVE the new commentary, they both react to the game very very well, and Czar gives some pretty good little tidbits about certain players. I like the player models I've just got a couple problems with some of the faces and skin tones of some players (ex. Ray Allen) But overall they're pretty sweet. Dirk is one that looks almost amazing, and I realy like Shaq's face in this one. I'm kinda disappointed with the dynasty I thought it would be alittle better than this. I was hoping for a Trade Block option to see what you can get, but I do like the different bars by each players name that shows how much the other team is inerested in that player. But I don't see coaching changes, the free agency is kinda whack, and I can't trade a draft pick. The EA hall of fame is kinda a nice touch in the dynasty mode, if I could only figure out how to retire someone's jersey.
I guess after all of this pointless rambling on I could say that I'm enjoying my first tastes of the game. And I really think it's a big improvement on last years efforts. I'm just hoping that 2005's dynasty will be alittle better.(considering 2005 will be the 10 yr aniversary)

I'm in the midst of being dicked over by Walmart. Why can't a store keep track of what games they are getting and for chrissakes get them in on time.

do not get it at walmart, they are crap. i tired to get it yesterday.. they were like... er...... ok. lemme see. and then, they forgot.

live 2005 is only the 10 year anniversary in name only. ea has been putting out these games for 14 years i think.
