NBA Live Glitch

IGN wrote:The ugly part of the game comes in the free agent market. Instead of money, you are given points to sign and resign players. If you don't treat your players right during the season by getting them the right coaches or give them enough playing time, some will refuse to re-sign with your team, and due to the salary cap, you can get into a jam where you don't have very many points to spend and three or four players who refuse to sign contracts. What do you do if this happens? Well, this is where you find maybe the biggest glitch in the game. In your second season and beyond, if you skip the free agent signing period and move on to the season, you can then go back into Sign Free Agents in the Roster Management section. Here, not only will find that the computer teams failed to sign any of your players, they failed to sign basically any of the free agents on the market. You can then go in and sign every star in the league who's available at the league minimum, stacking your team for the upcoming season with players like Iverson, Ray Allen, and whoever else is available at the time. Also, since you save so much money by signing everyone to the minimum, you can then use all of your point to train your star players, making them that much better, and basically ensuring that you win the title.

Sounds like we may not get bullsh*tted in fa signing but it also is unfair. Oh well, its NBA Live-who cares, although some wont jump at the chance because they want an authentic NBA Feel.

He said that is if you sim the free agent period. If you take the free agent period manually then maybe it won't happen. This is not a new glitch, it has happened since 2000

Well, at least we can try to be honest and don't skip the FA signing phase.

I am more worried about glitches that are not avoidable

wait, so if you DO sign free agents normally in 2003(yea 2003, not 2004) or previous versions, the computer gets free agents normally?

I don't remember computers getting big players until they drop into minimum salary.

If they didn't patch it in 2003, what makes you think they will patch it in 2004. Looks like you need to wait till 2005 or 2006. EA loves that annual payment plan for suckaz!
