"Players who got comfortable with last year’s default difficulty will be in for a rude awakening as performing well in anything above the rookie setting takes a great deal of practice—even scrub teams are hard to beat." (Y)

Yea cool! I found last years game challenging for awhile but gradually worked out how to win all the time on superstar......

I've never played a franchise on anything lower than superstar... i figure i f i get whooped for awhile then i'll eventually get better and its a good challenge... forces me to think about my players, my style of play, make changes i need etc etc... to get me winning

Hmm...

Still, that’s not such a bad thing in most gamers’ books as long as the tools are there to master and beat the system. Luckily, Live 2004 supplies what’s needed, and players should be back in competitive shape about a third of the way into a regular season’s worth of games

Hmm... I wonder if this guy has played 82 / 3 = 27 games and 5~8 minutes per quarter season before judging on this game...

But anyway, it is still a decent review and a positive one....
Looking forward to this game....
