Carmello

Player: Carmello Anthony, F, Syracuse

IGN Sports says: The most versatile, well-polished, and ready for prime-time player coming into the league this year, Mello's all-around game should make the Nuggets instantly improved, even if they still have a long way to go. Can hit shots from the outside, drive to the basket with authority, and take over a game when he needs to. Isn't afraid to be the man, and that's something they haven't had in Denver since Alex English.

IGN Sports says: Maybe the worst pick in the draft when it comes to team need. The Warriors already have too many guys who play the 2 and/or 3 and can't shoot, but here's another one. Provides plenty of energy off the bench and loves playing defense, but the guy couldn't hit the side of the Oakland Arena from the ticket stand, not that there's anyone in line to get in his way.

Ummmm......OK? The Warriors have a better chance at making playoffs this year than last.

He was picked first.

So. Micheal Pietrus was picked way before Josh Howard nd 3 befrore Ridinour but they are ranked above him..

I just think at the moment Mello is a better player, and that seems to be the consensus across the board, but LeBron has a bigger upside in the future...

Not trying to argue just making a point :D

I think the low ratings are cool... Makes the game more dynamic... It means that players are different...

The Jazz selected Alexander Pavlovic from Serbia, but it will be a while before he joins the team or any video game for that matter.

Not sure where this is coming from, Pavlovic is playing great in the preseason has been with the team all through training camp and will be playing this year.....strange.

The only player who should have a zero for dunking is John Stockton...since that pretty much means you never have and never will dunk in your life.

Troy Bell used to dunk all the time at Boston College...when he was alone on the break he would throw down with two hands fairly easily. His dunking rating should be around 45 at least. Lebron's passing rating should probably be around 70...it's probably his best attribute...

Speaking of which...I can see Lebron being rated higher than Carmelo...athleticism ratings have a bigger effect on the overall rating then shooting and offensive awareness. Plus Lebron is a better passer, shotblocker and probably rebounder because of his athleticism. I don't understand why people refuse to believe that there are players in high school who are flat out better than players in College. In the case of Lebron and Carmelo you have two exceptional players but Lebron may have the edge in pretty much everything but shooting and awareness...

seems they screwed outlaw because of the blazers' image which is fine a roster update will fix this (Y) They gave him 13 range? lol come on the guys a sf and has more than 13' range yet ebi whos also out of highschool gets 20 ft range oh well just tells you how bad ea is at ratings. I seriously think they should hire some of us to do the ratings since we actually watch the games and seem to know more than them, ea canada can make nhl and lets bring live to the USA where it should be made. Actually John Stockton could dunk, Karl Malone claims he did twice after a western all-start team shootaround. But he would never do it in a game.

Joe Dumars dunked once in his entire career so I think he should have a 0. Not that he's an active player though ;)

Melo's a great rebounder.

What about players who can dunk but don't. For example, Snow dunked once or twice in his career with Seattle.
