Player: Carmello Anthony, F, Syracuse
IGN Sports says: The most versatile, well-polished, and ready for prime-time player coming into the league this year, Mello's all-around game should make the Nuggets instantly improved, even if they still have a long way to go. Can hit shots from the outside, drive to the basket with authority, and take over a game when he needs to. Isn't afraid to be the man, and that's something they haven't had in Denver since Alex English.

IGN Sports says: Maybe the worst pick in the draft when it comes to team need. The Warriors already have too many guys who play the 2 and/or 3 and can't shoot, but here's another one. Provides plenty of energy off the bench and loves playing defense, but the guy couldn't hit the side of the Oakland Arena from the ticket stand, not that there's anyone in line to get in his way.

He was picked first.
The Jazz selected Alexander Pavlovic from Serbia, but it will be a while before he joins the team or any video game for that matter.

Troy Bell used to dunk all the time at Boston College...when he was alone on the break he would throw down with two hands fairly easily. His dunking rating should be around 45 at least. Lebron's passing rating should probably be around 70...it's probably his best attribute...
Speaking of which...I can see Lebron being rated higher than Carmelo...athleticism ratings have a bigger effect on the overall rating then shooting and offensive awareness. Plus Lebron is a better passer, shotblocker and probably rebounder because of his athleticism. I don't understand why people refuse to believe that there are players in high school who are flat out better than players in College. In the case of Lebron and Carmelo you have two exceptional players but Lebron may have the edge in pretty much everything but shooting and awareness...
