wow, does this mean that the 14th might still be reasonable? Soon for EA can mean a lot of things though. Look at the Madden patch, they said 2 weeks ago that they would release the patch "soon"--needless to say it hasn't came out yet.

But good news nonetheless, thanks.

^yep still waiting for the madden patch to fix coach mode sacks bug :D

You sure the update for Madden isn't out? I just tried to update Madden at the load screen yesterday, and it found , downloaded and installed an update.... Try updating from the Madden splash screen after you stick the CD in.

Imagine working for EA, you will recieve your bonus in 2 weeks. I mean 3 weeks, ummm 4 weeks....

Strange concept of time.....

Translate soon to mean, "It will happen, we aren't sure yet, maybe after three or four bogus release dates."

the first update was a roster update and that's it. Supposedly the "big" patch was suppose to come out like a week and a half ago. Still nothing, and BTW--I already updated the first one just waiting for the second update which will include some bug fixes and dirty uniforms.

Cool, maybe we can look into how the graphic formats have changed.

Are you talking about the PS2/Xbox/GameCube version of Live 2004? If you are, then there's a definite possibility it will be out on the 8th in North America. If you're talking about the PC version, I'd be very surprised if it comes out on the 8th, seeing as though it may not be out on the 14th.

Sorry, I'd like to believe you but after all the lies you pulled off, I HIGHLY doubt you're telling the truth. I remember when I was like 8 everyone was saying they have friends from (insert game company) and they confirmed (feature). 99.9% of the time it was bogus, I don't believe this at all.

All the lies I've pulled off? I assure you, as the webmaster of the NLSC, I am in contact with members of the production team, including the former webmaster of the NLSC, Tim Tschirner.

I have nothing to gain by reporting false information on the NLSC or in the NLSC Forum.

Ah, I see. My apologies Se7en>>Dimension, I thought your comments were directed at me, which is why I was a little perplexed at what I thought were accusations.

Wed Oct 08, 2003 12:48 pm

I think he was referring to showstopper.

Wed Oct 08, 2003 12:50 pm

Yes, I do see that now, and I again apologise for jumping to conclusions.

Nah, it's not the time of year. I thought the post was directed at me, and I was perplexed as to why my getting information from EA isn't believable. As I said, in my position, I have nothing to gain by reporting false information either on the news page or in the forum.

I appreciate the offer, but at the moment I can't think of any role you might be able to play at this time. Perhaps you could contact me privately with specifics on areas you could be involved in - I could certainly keep you in consideration as soon as I could work out a new role for someone to fill.

hey andrew. is there any way that you can try to find out more about a possible release date of the demo? i know that no one of your sources would tell a concrete date but maybe if it will be within one week or it will be not before the end of october. at the moment i really can´t wait to get on sth. playable of live 2004. and it would help to know how long i most likely will have to wait.

So Madden is gonna add the dirty uni's like PS2 and XBox have? Sweet. I was wondering why the PC doesn't have it when, to me, it is more detailed than the console versions...

Yeah, but only the higher video cards will support it, I'm not even sure if my geforce 4 ti 4600 will support the feature.

I can't get confirmation of that at the moment, but I should be able to in a few days (if the demo isn't released by then).

Sorry, Andrew, should of quoted showstopper.

No harm done, it was my mistake.

is easports.de faster than easports.com......?

Thu Oct 09, 2003 11:53 pm

is easports.de faster than easports.com......?

i found on the german easorts homepage the demo of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004. but there is no Tiger Woods 2004 demo on easports.com.

will other countrys released the demo of nba live earlier than easports.com? i could not believe it.

Fri Oct 10, 2003 2:39 am

hmm, last year. it wasn't EA that first had the demo... it was some smaller game-site (can't remember whish one...)

i doubt that EASports germany would get it before EASports north america would though...

[edit:] EA uploaded the Tiger Woods demo 2 hours ago...
