Your First Live 04 Dynasty

I know that there are many threads on this but i'll make another one...but also a little more interesting...i hope!

Well...u may know what team ur gonna use for dynasty but wat are u gonna do with them? I don't just mean play the games but wat trades are u gonna make? when/why are u gonna make them?

I'm gonna pick the Houston Rockets as my Dynasty team for the sake of having Yao and Stevie.

Then i'm hopin' to trade Eddy Griffen, Cat Mobley,Glen Rice for players...hopefully i can get a first round draft pick- cause I'm curious about trading for future picks...and future investments!

BTW...wat level of difficulty should u start off with? I dunno...but I want to start playing 4 minute qtrs. on All-star

I'll probably take the Chicago Bulls for the first time since the 1998 championship team was dismantled. I'll probably make a few deals - get rid of Jalen Rose and Eddie Robinson - but keep most of the team intact.

I'm taking the Lakers and, as always, get my Croatian brothers Kukoc and Giricek on the team....That's pretty much it for the first year i think...

I will take the Lakers, win the championship and then draft myself in the following offseason.

Hopefully, they make it possible to patch in a draftable rookies! :cool:

I'll take the Raptors to the top of the NBA while getting the MVP award with Vince and ROTY with Bosh. Then when i get bored i'll use the Bulls and try to get them into the Playoffs again using the superstar skill setting.

I'm definitely going to be Boston, and the first thing I'm going to do is kick Vin Baker's alcoholic ass out of the lockerroom... Next I will do my annual trades for Pat Garrity and hopefully Troy Murphy, although I'm willing to bet he's rated fairly high this year... Nothing better than two Irish guys from Notre Dame playing for the Celtics...

I usually play as the Raptors, but this time I also think I'll start with the Bulls. I want to see what I can do with Crawford, Curry, Chandler, and Hinrich, and see if I can trade Pippen for a draft pick and filler.

Well i'll first figure out which team's jerseys i like best. Then i'm gonna look to trade every player on my team to former kentucky wildcat players!

I normally don't like to play a team with more than 2 superstars but with this team i'm looking at Walker and Monster Mash as my only 2 superstars. To bad Create a team won't be able to be played in Dynasty Mode or will it?

I'm starting with the Bulls identical to real life, except I'm placing legend Michael Jordan in the roster before entering Dynasty mode. MJ of course won't age, and I plan to play many seasons with the Bulls. I might trade Rose for a future draft pick. Or I might trade him for Antoine Walker (my fav player).

I'm going to use the Rockets, make Dynasty and Franchise the most fearsome tandem in the league. Hopefully I'll get Amare and Wang Zhi-Zhi in on the mix along the way.

Judging from the way EA rates their rookies low, I might be able to trade Eddie Griffin for Carmelo Anthony! Now, you think about that... :cool:

I don't think Custom Teams are in the game this year, although we'll probably be able to add our own teams with a little DBF editing.

I used the bulls since the Nba live '96 on the SNES... Stuck with them even after the 98 dismantling on my psx..... stayed tru bull fan on nba live 200-2003 pc... maybe ill try the lakers for 2004.... duh?? BULLS FOREVER.. i'll probably copy my 2003 drafted shooting guard.. who, at 78 overall rating, NUKES Kobe's and Vince's ass til kingdom come game after game for 8 seasons now.. then i'll stick withthe orig roster of chandler , curry but will most likely EVICT jalen rose fom my line up..Never like that guy.. and sign RAFER ALSTON..

Was just thinking.. does live 2004 promise realistic gameplay such that players perform like their real world counterparts? where TYson chandler just doesnt rock the rim EVERY FREAKIN Time wether after receiving a pass from a pick n roll or just a spin move even against Shaq? I dont know if its just me.... but i'd like to have a REAL rebuilding franchise.. c'mon... its the bulls.. i cant just take it to a 65 win season and playoff dominance after drafting just one good player.. hopefully... id be able to experience the difficulties rebuilding teams encounter in NBA live 2004.. what do you guys think? =)

I gotta go with new york

.. I might make a few small trades, probably trading ward and eisley for a decent point guard(maybe steve nash or nick van exel) and developing frank williams behind him.. my gameplan will be letting mcdyess dominate the paint, force the double team then dish it to Houston and Van Horn who can hit the open jumpers... ill try to get houston into the all star game. then ill draft a centre and also have sweetney coming up... so maybe ill package van horn and my pick to get a higher draft pick so i can get a decent centre... but we'll see...

A suns dynasty would be fun on superstar.. no trades, that should be a challange to win in the west.. but ill do that after i play with the knicks

Im gonna play with the Knicks as well, and at least get into to the playoffs. Hopefully they get Van EX in real life, so I can have him on my team. If not, then I'll trade my two pg's (like the man above) and trade for a decent point guard ( I might bring my fav PG to the team, Eric Snow). Hopefully after year one, I can get a really good rookie and eventually after a while build another dynasty in New York !!!!

I'll start a dynasty with my loved phoenix suns. i'll try to make hardaway as good as he was when he played with the magic! i'll try to get j-kidd for marbury and perhaps a not so good player. perhaps i'll create charles barkley and give him a comeback
