It takes a man to admit when he's wrong, so I have no problem with you, and I damn sure dont think you should be banned

well now that he'd apologized, it's upto Andrew and the original poster who should decides whether he's forgiven.

for the rest of us, let's not talk about it any more

If you were going to be banned, you would have been banned already so don't worry about that. Your gesture is admirable, I'm sure the other posters appreciate your apology.

Just don't take credit for what other people have written. That is just dumb. Put it like "I found this on another forum/site..." etc. And you'll be just fine.

Taking credit for something someone else wrote is just asking for a flame war... And the moderators will not look too long at that. And nobody will take kindly to that.

An apology is accepted and appreciated...

Nobody should flame anyone here, so don't give 'em a reason...

u cool peeps after that apology

Taking credit for something someone else wrote somewhere else is just wrong... Why would you even want to take credit for something someone else wrote??? And sooner or later someone will find out that some creep has taken credit for what he or his friends have said in another forum. And all the flaming starts...

And you can certainly get banned for starting flame wars.

And taking credit of someone else is just childish... Be a man. Put your money where your mouth is.

As Metsis said, such actions lead to flame wars, and instigating flame wars is grounds for punishment. Taking credit for someone else's work is also not in the spirit of the online NBA Live community, and is something that is frowned upon. Banning is an extreme punishment, but continued violation of the forum rules and/or disturbance of peace in the forum can lead to banning.

As I said, this incident only required a warning. That warning was issued, and the matter has been resolved. Should the problem have escalated, more warnings would have been issued and further action would be considered. But fortunately, that wasn't necessary.

Banning/temporarily deactivating accounts is usually a last resort, unless a member's actions warrant such actions to be taken immediately.
