Saw the video too and realized that there will be a lot of work for us "shoe-patchers". :D

hmm, i don't know about that... there will probebly be the same format on the pattern (hopefully bigger), so there's just to make an very easy convertion...

i don't know what i think about that though... it could be kinda fun to get a completely new way to patch... i don't know how that's possible though, it seems pretty much optimized now...

I would just like to thank u Mr. Andreas Dahl on behalf of all of us 56k users. The NBA store feature looks increadible, it is the pic of the real NBA store on 5th ave in New york (I know some of u didn't know there was a real NBA store but there is and it exsits in the fabulous New york city). This is going to be a wonderful game but the body models look a little off hopefully EA will get that fixed. (i am an Console gamer, preferably on the Xbox).

 hehe
scinse the other shoes (xept for the limitless) doesn't show, it must mean they just started, or wating til the end to make them. not realy a high priority thing, scinse they know we'r just gonna patch them anyway, no mater how they look...

hehe....the faces and body models are crap.

I wouldn't exactly say the shoes are crap..they look like they have alot more quality than the ones from 2003...but im still going to tackle making some

I'm guessing when we make shoes it's going to be like cyberfaces...and we're going to have to pick models that best suit the shoe we're trying to do. It's more work but it's going to give us much more freedom to do any kind of shoe we want.

Thanks for the screens. (Y) I like the idea of completely changing the background when you enter the NBA Store and other modes - a throwback to the earlier Lives.

(Y) also for the jersey selection in practice mode. Hopefully we'll only be able to select the Arena in Exhibition Mode. I also like the new Quarter Break screen, but I hope those scores are a by-product of the human player's skills, not an indication of the gameplay speed. Then again, there will be sliders.

Another good preview IMHO. (Y) Thanks again to SteveT and Andreas Dahl. :)

:D glad ya'll like it. i like the game to, it looks great :D

the nba-store seems to be great, although i wonder how will impleant it to the dynasty-mode?

another thing i noticed is the dunks... in the video there are 3-4 dunks. two of them are completey new (a-la-carter) and some are the same as 2003...

another thing that seem good is that a lot of passes was thrown away/incompleted cuz of a stressed moment...
but one thing that's the same is the 'box' around the court... if a ball is thrown out of bounds the ball will stay within 3ft. of the sideline... not so good...

one more thing, there isn't one single block in the whole video, but that could be couse of the sucky beta-testers though

oh, by the way, i don't wan't to brake ya'll good spirits now, but it seemed like there's still a lot of breakaway's (only one on the video), but every time a player took a defensive rebound, 2-3 other guys on that team just ran up the court...

+ when players go for rebound's they get those high jumps... (neck through the rim )
Image

+ the collision thingy... in the beguinning of 1-on-1, it worked great, then after a while, all you had to do was to back down on the player from the top of the key, and you'd go straight through him...
