NBA Live BETA TESTING!

Postby tiger on Sun Aug 31, 2003 7:04 pm

Ok, I just finished watching a movie of a beta version of NBA Live 2004 for the PS2.

First off, some things look really nice, while other still needs some work, the new nba store where you can buy old school shoes among other stuff is a nice addition to options. The gameplay itself still looks in the works, as players somethings slide all over the place and go threw defenders when posting up.

Now, as for the beta testers that made this movie. PLEASE! They were horrible in live. They didn't know a thing about it, they used free style almost every time down the court, took 3pt shots with Jefferson, couldn't use the dunk button, etc.

I BEG EA SPORTS to find some actual nba live players to test these beta versions, that way they can actually get real reviews and not just 10s all across the board. They need players from say the Top 20 list that is currently on www.nbaliveleagues.com/top20.php. Trust me, if they had those type of Livers testing the game, the game would end up being much better than the final version will be of 2004.

So please, if you have connections with EA Sports get them to pick actual Livers that play NBA Live every day and hate every little thing. This will only improve the game and make it more enjoyable for all of us that like the game.

I agree with tiger, time to let some of the real Live players test the game for a change. I know dozens of ppl who play the game at least 10 times daily. EA also needs to consider adding online franchise league support, like they did with Madden 2002. Would be very nice. I wouldn't mind paying $10 to join an online NBA Live league, and I am sure most others agree.
