NBA Live 2004 Released Now on EBAY!!!!

Dont know if this been posted or not but NBA Live 2004 is on ebay. The seller had 12 feedbacks at 100%. I emailed him and he confirmed its the full version. I'm skeptical about this since its 35 bucks with free shipping but If I pay with paypal I have nothing to loose. Can anyone confirm its authenticity?

I haven't seen this pic anywhere on the web. You never know these days with hackers and all--I'm sure they are testing Live right now as we speak--so anything is possible. It might not be the "final" version but he might have a beta.

I have seen that picture but the smaller version which that only shows the part where the backboard is.

There's no way a buyer can get in trouble with EA, or anybody else for that manner. It's illegal to sell, yes, but never to buy.

Actually than how come people get arrested for buying stolen property? But I wouldn't buy it, even if it is the real deal. you can't be sure, so I would wait till october and buy the sure thing.

Don't be foolish to think that that ebay item is an authentic release of NBA Live 2004. Even as nba live 2003 was released around mid-october of last year, the team rosters in that version was updated as of October 1. And I expect NBA Live 2004 to be something similar to that.

the buyer said he worked for ea sports and gets all realeases early.

If he worked at EA he is risking his job, If he has the game it wouldn't be hard for EA to track to find out who it is and fire his ass not to mention persecute him.

If you go on a chat board and tell us all that you are about to buy an illegal product, well this could come out at some point and the buyers defense of "I didn't know it was illegal stuff" goes out the window.

You really should never go for a deal like the one above.

And his comments about the originality of the product can be accurate, but he is risking his job. And he will not make any big money off of it anyway. An EA employee could have a test version of the game which is pretty much finished, but it is not the final product. There could be some bugs in the system that haven't just come up yet. You should ask if he's got the original packaging for the game too... I'm pretty sure he doesn't.
