More In-depth HalfTime

Postby Full Surface on Thu Jul 17, 2003 2:41 am

Some things I'm looking forward to (if these features are included in Live 2004):

- The ability to see other scores from other games (in Season and Playoffs)
- HalfTime report where the announcers give you an overview of the whole game s far
- A halftime show in which they could add a 1 to 2 minute video of the team cheerleaders dancing and showing highlights of the team's players doing dunks, etc

that would be cool but it wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't in the game.

i have wanted that kind of half time show for so long now. to show highlights of the current game and maybe highlights of other games around the league. i remember back the early 90's nhl hockey would show scores of other games around the league, was a cool thing. someday they will add it

Yes the half time report would be cool... Getting information about what's going on in the league would be cool, for a while. These things get old, and so do the cheerleader videos of early Live games. I don't really miss them.

What I'd like to see make a come back at the half time report is the best players on both teams. So you'd know who's hot and could maybe adjust your defense to fit the need.

Highlights of the current game... Well I don't see them as that needed. There are much more important things to fix before adding more glitz and glamour.

I still want a solid game with no glaring flaws before anything and a year isn't enough to do it all. There isn't enough time....

I agree with most of you that after a while halftime show antics do get boring. However EA could add halftime stuff that was actually useful, like scores from around the league, Player of the Half and maybe a couple of points from a sideline reporter of the adjustments that the coaches are making at the half (like Madden) except have it be situational, such as if a team is getting blown out or if one player is killing another team, just my opinion.

yea i agree .,... they should have the useful info like scores around the league...ea should go back to the days of live 97 through 2000. where they had the tnt presentation... and update it to the current presentation... that game was good wit the stats and all that.. plus since their competitor has espn.. the leader in presentation( u cant front) they should counter them wit tnt...instead of some made up stuff..Bredin where u from in nyc. im from nyc too

I can do without halftime shows but as long as they're informative and not just a generic video then I don't mind. I wouldn't mind generic halftime videos, I just wouldn't watch them and consider them a fairly useless feature. :)
