If there's anything, what are the features from live 2003 should they keep?

The playermodels and colors but not the faces.

Really? I hated those over-muscular players, and how people that are my skin tone (I'm like JKidd) are pink.

These are the playermodels, not graphics, the unchangeable stuff like the body shapes that you choose in create-a-player.

Freestyle control and custom art are two features that should definitely be retained. We know Freestyle will be in NBA Live 2004, I assume custom art will be as well. We also know that Franchise Mode will be in Live 2004 in the improved form of Dynasty Mode. I'm sure the other traditional modes (Season, Playoffs, Exhibition) and features (Create-a-Player, Roster Management) will all be there as usual.

I agree with that and the claim that we should keep freestyle and I'm pretty sure they're keeping the classic jerseys although I hope that they add both home and away classic jerseys.

I think from the videos there will be home & away classic jerseys.

MVP Candidates and Upcoming Free Agents, retain these features, and expand on them.
i.e. More awards and the free-agent's likelihood of re-signing should also be displayed on that screen

They should keep all the good things... What those are, well I don't know, but they really don't have enough time to build a game from scratch.

The music will propably be along the same lines, but I don't think they'll have any of the old songs on it. They've changed every year and that's a good thing. One year of the same songs is enough for me. This rap thing is made for ball.

I wish you could change the songs on the playlist. So you could listen to what you wanted.

It ain't all bad... And there are always features that remind you of the previous games. But it's inevitable.

We will get what we will get... There isn't that many directions the game can go from Live 2003, so I have my hopes up.

with music i meant, well know artists and -imho- quite good songs, not keep the old songs but i mean spending as much attention to the music as last year is fun, though fixing gameplay is much more important
