Net Swoosh...

Postby MJ_realm on Thu Jul 10, 2003 7:33 pm

I can't find any topic about this, so I created one.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is EA should make the net swoosh thing realistic and maybe the graphics of the net. It really feels good if you made a shot that looks like a dagger in the heart. :D But it should not be always like in Live 2000 and 2001 I think. It should be more like Live 2003 that you can just hit a shot like that if you're wide open or you really made an accurate shot. This really adds realism on the game. EA should concentrate on this things rather than graphics IMO.

Not so boring like LIve 2003 and not so frequent as Live 2000. I haven't seen any thing like this yet from previews and screenshots. I hope people from EA should fix this as soon as they read.

i think this feature should be created last...i'm more interested in the gameplay and features that the game has to offer.....although it would be nice to hear various sounds with regards to the net.

Right on about the nets!!!

I can't stress how much this net thing has bothered me! Finally someone out there agrees!!

Live 2001 was the last Live game to have a decent swoosh animation (and I know it was always the same animation), but I would prefer that than the current net animations.

People reply to this, it is a TERRIFIC POINT.

Pretty good point but it isnt too much of a complaint for me.

Does anybody think that the net is too thick. I think it needs to be thinner. The net also looks the smae size from top to bottom.

also, i'd like for shots, especially free throws, to be more swish oriented for good shooters. it's not that realistic when someone like allan houston shoots free throws nd they always bounce halfway out of the rim before finally going in..

I also like the comment. "That shot was nothing but net, In fact Not even Net" after the ball has bounced off the rim...

They should add more backboard shots. Not every shot that goes in is a swish, and the ball should richochet in different directions, like in Nba Inside Drive 2000
