New NLSC roster for 2004.

They doin' stuff for '05 to '08, but stop release some new for 2004.
I knew that NBA '08 is more popular then 2004, but people still play in that game. And i think that not so hard to do fresh roster with cyberface, but I can't do it by myself
So, dear NLSC, please, do some with that little trouble

I doubt it will happen. Andrew was officially doing updates for 08 and 06 and the 08 updates are easily converted to 07 while the 06 updates are easily converted to 05. 04 is a fun basketball game, but, the file formats are just too different from the games

however, if you ask permission first, take Andrew's roster and then using open office/excel/Dbcommander and convert the dbf files down to 2004 by copying and pasting values in.

Sorry, but it's not going to happen. The reason I do 2005-08 is that there are more people still playing those games and as Jon said, it's much easier to convert the updates for use with those four games in the series. That said, it's still time-consuming and at times quite tedious to do rosters for four games, so at this time I have no intention of increasing that to five games...especially when doing so would involve a lot of messing around.

Well, if you tell me how to do convertation from 2005 - 08, i mean step-by-step, maybe I can try to do some.

mainly you want to take and convert the players and appearance dbfs

open both DBF files with open office or your dbf editor of choice and go through each column and copy the values out of 2005 and into 2004

there is no clean cut way to do this, and it will crash on you. There is no good way for me or Andrew to help you or someone else do this step by step. You are just going to need to try it since really it just boils down to copying and pasting.

y people stop making patches for 04 its so sad.........

It's the way it goes as each release in the series gets older. More people playing the most recent game and interest in the older releases wanes.
