patch trouble

Hi all,

I installed the 95-96 patch (excellent by the way!) and I'd like to know if there is a way to switch back to the original courts and still being able to use the rosters. Same question with the scoreboards.

Absolutely, you just need to delete the xcourt folder under C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 2004\render to remove the custom court files.

So, if I delete the xcourt folder, does it mean the program will use the xcourt.viv file (in \render) ? And before deleting, how does the program know which one to use ?
Sorry for asking such questions, but I'm a beginner with patching (I know it's late in 09 to discover what patches can make with NL04!) .

That's correct.

When CustomArt is enabled, the game will check for files it can use outside of the .vivs. If it doesn't find any replacement files, it just loads from the .vivs as normal.
