How do you use the roster updates that are just dbf files?

Postby agent309 on Tue Mar 04, 2008 8:31 pm

I've always loved live 2004 on my PS2 but I just bought the PC version of the game because I just discovered this site & all of the awesome patches you guys have made. Only thing is, I can't figure out how to get some of the roster update/patches to work.

I'm fine with the self extracting files but I'm lost when it comes to the updates that are a single dbf file (players.dbf). What do I do?

I promise I'm not computer illiterate!! But this is my first PC game.

The players.dbf file can be copied to any saved roster folder, which can then be loaded with all the changes from within the game's Load/Save menu.

I feel dumb now. I had been copying the save folder, renaming it, then dropping the dbf file in when I just needed to make a new save file within the game & THEN drop the dbf file in. Wow.

Thanks for your help though sir
