Official Bug Fix for NBA LIVE 2004

So, I installed the 95/96 roster patch and made the change in that file for the custom art (changing the 0 to a 1 - per the NLSC wiki). The game now runs much slower (in the menus) and always performs an illegal opperation when the game is over (before I can save my dynasty). I tried to download the Official Bug Fix, but was unable to find it on the EA sports website. Can someone help me out here... especially if the problem is something else.
