This would be the most fun thing NBA Live would have ever brought in. They should put in a Career Mode like on Shootout 2003. I was looking at their website and you start in the Summer Leauges and then on to the NBDL (National Basketball Development Leauge) and then get signed by an NBA team!

And then you still might not get much court time! And if you mess up bad you can get waived and back to the NBDL. It would really give us all an insight into what it is like to go through the stages to make it to the NBA.

Anyone else like this idea? Please post back! Andrew pleeeeeeeasse send this in to EA Sports.

C'mon everybody just imagine creating yourself and going through all the stages. HOW COOL WOULD IT BE!

Yea...i posted it somewhere too and it would be best thing. Career mode, whoa...you have to listen and remember strategy that coach says and follow these instructions. Ofcourse at beginning you have to create player with who you play. It would be so cool.

Yes it would be cool, but it is just too much work to put into a yearly update of a game... I'd like to see this, but don't count on it making the game.

The most important thing right now is making the game we have to work the way it should. So we can get a good and stable foundation to build all these fancy ideas on. If the game does not work properly, well would it be cool to get waived only because of a bug? Or something like that... Your player not getting the minutes he would on a really deserve etc. The basics need to be fixed...

Yeah a single player career mode would rock. Too bad EA still hasn't gotten the regular gameplay down yet. Maybe someone else out there will make a game like that and make millions.

As everyone's probably deduced by now, I didn't include this in the 2004 Wishlist, primarily because I knew it would be too late to add such a feature. No harm in adding it to the Live 2005 Wishlist though.

see if we can have dunk contest in NBA Live 2006.

There is a game which has a brillant dunk contest, KONAMI Power Dunker for PSX in 2000. I think the game is pretty fun, the dunk contest is worth playing.
