"Cannot access hard drive" ?

Well I decided to go old school (kinda) and install my NBA Live 2004, but after I installed it and everything and opened the game it said: "Cannot access hard drive". I have no idea what this means so if anyonce can tell me whats happening here I would really appreciate it.
